September 2007:

Recently, Ms. Fontaine was chosen to peform with the South Coast Symphony in their Opening Night Gala, performing "Ah! Je veux vivre", "Summertime", and "Glitter and Be Gay".

In addition, she was chosen as the lead in USC Thornton Opera's Spring Production of Summer and Smoke, by Lee Hoiby. Based on Tenessee Williams' famous play, Ms. Fontaine will perform the female lead, Alma.

TV Appearance: On September 19th FOX is airing its pilot of Chef Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares" featuring Jacquelynne Fontaine as one of the guests (possibly airing an impromptu aria).

August 2007:

Recital: On August 19th Ms. Fontaine shared a recital with the Center Stage Opera at St. James Episcopal Church in Thousand Oaks. Members of the CSO performed the first half with famous arias from the upcoming season. Ms. Fontaine performed the second half with opera, musical theatre and jazz standards.

July 2007:

Ms. Fontaine visited The Hotchkiss Summer Portals in Lakeville, CT to teach an opera workshop for talented high school vocalists. At the music program were such guest astists as David Hayes, staff conductor at the Curtis Institute of Music and conductor of the Philly Singers, renowned violinist Ida Kavafian, and the Shanghai String Quartet.

June 2007:

At the end of the month, Ms. Fontaine passed her title to the new Miss California. It was a four day competiton, and Ms. Fontiane had the honor of MCing the event as well as performing.

May 2007:

The Army Ball is an annual event held in Long Beach to honor tenured officers as well as newly departing infantry. Ms. Fontaine sang "America the Beautiful" for the honoree of the night, Lt. Gen. Steven W. Boutelle, Chief Information Officer of the Army. Also perofrming that night was the current Miss America, Lauren Nelson.
